Terms of Service
Terms for using Ananke products and services.
These Terms govern access to Ananke websites, products, services, software, APIs, governed AI workspaces, partner programs, and related offerings unless a separate written agreement applies.
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Important notice
These terms are a practical operating framework.
Ananke may enter into separate written agreements with enterprise customers, agencies, partners, rights holders, and other organizations. If a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls for that customer or relationship.
These Terms are intended to provide a clear public baseline for website visitors, early customers, partners, and users. They should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being treated as final legal terms for a production launch, regulated deployment, enterprise contract, or public offering.
1. Ananke services
Ananke provides governance, workspace, and identity infrastructure for AI adoption.
Palladium Enterprise
An API governance layer between organizational systems, users, AI models, and responses.
Palladium Pro
Application-ready governed chat and social APIs for organizations, communities, schools, nonprofits, product teams, and businesses.
Origin by Ananke
Identity rights infrastructure for protected AI personas, licensing, integrations, governance, and estate stewardship.
We may update, modify, suspend, improve, or discontinue portions of our products as they evolve. Access to specific features may depend on subscription tier, customer configuration, written agreement, product availability, and applicable law.
2. Accounts and authorized use
You are responsible for how your account and organization use Ananke.
You must provide accurate account, billing, organization, and contact information when using Ananke products.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, API keys, access tokens, administrative accounts, and organization settings.
You may not access Ananke products in a way that violates law, infringes rights, bypasses security controls, interferes with service operation, or attempts to reverse engineer protected systems except where expressly permitted by law.
Organizations are responsible for configuring appropriate users, roles, policies, rooms, integrations, governance settings, data access, and approval workflows.
3. Customer content and ownership
You retain ownership of your content, data, policies, and identity materials.
As between you and Ananke, you retain ownership of the content, information, materials, policies, prompts, documents, identity records, and other data you submit to Ananke products, subject to any rights granted to Ananke that are necessary to provide, secure, govern, support, and improve the services.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, consents, permissions, and authority to provide content to Ananke, including organizational data, reference materials, intellectual property, client materials, personal information, and protected identity or persona materials.
4. AI outputs and limitations
AI systems are powerful, but they are not perfect.
Ananke provides governance and control layers around AI systems, but AI outputs may still be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, unexpected, or unsuitable for a particular use without human review.
Human review
Do not rely blindly on AI.
Users and organizations should review AI outputs before relying on them for important decisions.
No professional advice
AI is not a licensed professional.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, outputs are not legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice.
Model providers
Third-party AI may be involved.
Some features may route requests to third-party model providers or customer-selected systems.
Governance boundaries
Controls reduce risk.
Governance, safety, and audit tools are designed to reduce risk, not eliminate all possible harm or misuse.
5. Acceptable use
Ananke products may not be used to harm people, bypass protections, or violate rights.
No unlawful activity
Do not use Ananke to violate applicable laws, contracts, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, publicity rights, or other legal obligations.
No abuse or exploitation
Do not harass, threaten, exploit, manipulate, defraud, impersonate, or endanger others through our products.
No security attacks
Do not probe, scan, attack, scrape, disrupt, overload, bypass, or attempt unauthorized access to Ananke systems.
No unauthorized persona use
Do not create, license, simulate, represent, or deploy a protected identity or persona unless you have appropriate rights and authorization.
No policy bypass
Do not attempt to evade governance rules, moderation, access controls, audit logging, rate limits, or safety systems.
No misuse of minors' data
Organizations using products with minors must configure appropriate protections and obtain required consents.
6. Origin identity rights
Origin is designed to protect identity ownership, not take it.
Origin by Ananke may support identity registries, persona licensing, rights protection, integrations, usage audit, and estate management. Customers and rights holders are responsible for ensuring they have authority to register, manage, license, or govern any protected identity or persona.
No transfer of identity ownership
Using Origin does not transfer ownership of a person's name, likeness, voice, biography, publicity rights, or persona to Ananke.
Customer authority required
Agencies, estates, representatives, and organizations must have appropriate authority before submitting or managing protected identity materials.
Licensing relationships remain separate
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Ananke provides infrastructure and governance services, not talent representation, legal advice, or licensing negotiation.
7. Fees, subscriptions, and usage
Fees may include subscriptions, platform access, implementation, and usage-based charges.
Fees, billing terms, renewal terms, usage rates, payment schedules, taxes, refunds, and cancellation rights may be described in an order form, subscription agreement, master services agreement, enterprise contract, partner agreement, or other written agreement.
Usage-based fees may apply to API calls, governed requests, model usage, identity governance checks, storage, integrations, or other metered product activity.
If you use a paid service, you agree to pay all applicable fees when due. Failure to pay may result in suspension, limitation, or termination of access.
8. Confidentiality and security
Security is shared responsibility.
Ananke will use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by our products. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Customers are responsible for configuring access controls, protecting credentials and API keys, assigning appropriate roles, managing users, reviewing policies, and avoiding unnecessary submission of sensitive information.
Confidentiality obligations may be further defined by separate written agreements, including enterprise contracts, agency agreements, data processing agreements, or partner agreements.
9. Intellectual property
Ananke owns its platform, software, systems, designs, marks, and technology.
Ananke and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to our websites, software, APIs, products, user interfaces, documentation, designs, trademarks, service marks, governance systems, platform architecture, and related technology. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Ananke products except as expressly permitted by law or written agreement.
Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by Ananke without restriction or compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Products are provided within practical and legal limits.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ananke products and websites are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not warrant that products will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for every use case.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ananke will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, or unauthorized third-party conduct.
Any liability limitations in a separate written agreement will apply to the relationship governed by that agreement.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access when needed to protect the platform, customers, or rights holders.
Ananke may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe there has been a violation of these Terms, a security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment, misuse, rights infringement, or conduct that could harm Ananke, customers, users, partners, rights holders, or the public.
You may stop using Ananke products at any time, subject to any payment, cancellation, retention, export, confidentiality, and survival terms in your applicable agreement.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, confidentiality, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and usage restrictions.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Ananke evolves.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Ananke products after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms, unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
